Our leading client is looking for an EMEA Contracts Manager to support their entire EMEA operation in regards to ensuring legal compliance is met for all contracts and commercial agreements undertaken by the business. This role will mainly use English law but will also require either French or German language skills due to their business (and this role) having considerable dealings with these territories. Russian and Polish speakers will also definitelty be considered although The main function of this role is to provide legal support to our client's daily operations on all its day-to-day activities and ensuring it complies with applicable local and international laws. Experience of enforcing policies, procedures and ensuring compliance is essential. Core skills will cover the following areas: • Commercial contracts; drafting and negotiation experience • Clear understanding of contract boilerplate provisions • Experience with IP contracts (e.g. licenses, OEM agreements, etc...) • Experience of negotiating service levels and management of contractual risk Having a business focus, your main skills will lie in commercial law (including IP, Export and Contract law). You will speak fluent English, German, French, Polish or Russian and will be a confident communicator at all levels within a business. Your key experience will lie in negotiating, progressing and managing commercial IT/software contracts in UK and European countries, either in a law firm practice or as in-house counsel. The successful applicant must be a current practicing Lawyer (Solicitor). If qualified from outside of the UK, you must be currently on the REL or hold a QTLS Certificate of Eligbility. Based near Woking (Surrey), this role is commutable from locations such as Staines (Middlesex), Weybridge, Guildford, Sunbury-on-Thames, Windsor (Berkshire), Egham and Slough.
