Our successful technology client, based in Weybridge, is looking to recruit an EMEA Accountant to join their finance department for 10 months on Maternity Cover. Your responsibilities will be to ensure accurate corporate reporting under local GAAP (a knowledge of US GAAP is highly advantageous) alongside assisting in the production of monthly management accounts and statutory returns. You will also be required to assist the Finance Manager in order to produce high quality financial information in a timely manner, and mentor and support the EMEA accounting team. The successful candidate will ideally be an ACCA/CIMA Finalist level or Newly Qualified accountant, with broad accounts experience in a busy medium sized office. You will also ideally have experience in a software/services company with an understanding of accounting processes and procedures including Sarbanes Oxley. Oracle experience is essential with a good knowledge of US GAAP and excellent excel skills. Based in Weybridge (Surrey), this role is commutable by car and public transport from locations such as Guildford, Addlestone, Shepperton, Egham, Staines, Windsor, Slough, Woking, Leatherhead and Sunbury-on-Thames.
