The Opportunity Writing and editing online and print products, you will be researching and updating content. Working within a busy editorial team, your writing will be authoritative and will act as a source of key advice and direction for the audience. Researching for a professional publication, you will be conducting telephone interviews with industry professionals, working with the content management system for digital and web uploading, researching subjects to write engaging content, and spending time to research funding opportunities for their funding databases at key times of the year. Key Responsibilities • Commissioning, interviewing for and writing editorial content for paper publications and online products • Project managing publications from planning stages to print • Working with designers to produce engaging editorial in paper and online • Keeping informed of business trends within specific industries and professions • Working across several different publications in the department Candidate Profile An individual with excellent writing skills, you will be comfortable working with individuals at the top of their profession. Familiar with interviewing and producing material with an authoritative and factual background, you will be able to multi-task and have exceptional research skills. Conscientious and a team worker, you will be a professional with keen sense of detail. Ability to use on-page SEO and good knowledge of social media is desirable in this role. Samples of writing will be a part of the application process, and will need to be available to include in the application.
