DMPK Senior Specialist

A global biotechnology company who are a market leader in their therapeutic area are looking for a DMPK Senior Specialist to join their team in a state of the art research site in Abingdon.

You will be an integral part of DMPK team providing laboratory support for a pioneering business at the forefront of scientific innovation in the cell and gene therapy space.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide DMPK analysis and reporting across all projects
• Manage laboratory operations and liaise with other departments to ensure supply of lab items as well as ensuring these are ready for use
• Handle any issues that may arise with the equipment including LCMS and Automated Liquid Handling Systems
• Support the development of new lab procedures within the DMPK team
• Work alongside other teams and external stakeholders to support DMPK study documentation

Requirements

• Educated to degree level in a Scientific area
• Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors is highly advantageous
• Proven background in providing scientific DMPK support and managing a bioanalytical laboratory
• Experience of maintaining LC/MS laboratory equipment and using automated liquid handling systems
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team
