We are currently recruiting for a creative Design Manager to cover maternity leave on a contract basis (minimum of 9 months), this role is based in south West London and will start in June 2015. You will be able to demonstrate a strong creative portfolio with experience across digital and print design with strong technical skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, as you will lead and manage the full design process from concept to manufacture/implementation. The Design Manager will be a confident user of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver with good knowledge of both HTML and CSS. Experience with content management systems (in particular Wordpress) would also be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong creative portfolio with in depth knowledge of layout, graphic fundamentals, typography and limitations of the web as well as examples of innovative UI and UX and ideas. In return my client is offering a competitive pro-rated salary and would also be willing to accept application from candidates looking for part time hours (minimum of 22.5 hours per week).
