Working on behalf of a leading technology business with rapid growth, we are recruiting for a Technical Customer Service Representative to join an existing team. You will be responsible for fielding Customer Support Tickets from our client’s customers within the EMEA region. The successful candidate for this position will be liaising internationally with other Customer Service Representatives and Technical Account Managers to report on issues and co-ordinate the international escalation of service issues across time zones to ensure a timely resolution of all client issues. You will be ensuring accurate records of service recommendations are written to the CRM, configuring systems to allow client accounts effective access to company services and answering any internal enquiries directed toward the support team of a technical and account related nature. To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate in a previous position proficiency of a technical area equivocal to macro writing, operating system configuration or reports generation. General IT literacy is a must but the client would like to stress that this is a software services support position rather than an IT support post. Ideally our client is looking for a candidate of graduate calibre who is able to demonstrate a professional businesslike approach to their work. You will be required to have outstanding troubleshooting skills alongside excellent communication skills. The ability to remain calm and work in a pressured environment is a must as well as being able to speak to customers of all levels both internally and externally. Based in Reading, our client is commutable by both car and public transport from towns throughout Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire (including Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, Camberley, Windsor, Newbury, Oxford, Maidenhead, Slough, Farnborough and Aldershot).
