Our Reading-based client is looking to recruit a Customer Service Manager to support, train and develop their existing team of nine customer service professionals. As the business is going through a period of change, this will give the successful individual the opportunity to significantly impact how the team works going forward.
You will be managing a settled team who cover the UK, Ireland, France and Germany. As retention levels are strong, change management and training / development of experienced staff will be valued highly.
This is not a call centre environment so someone who has worked in export customer service or order-to-delivery customer fulfilment teams will be an excellent fit.
You will work closely with external Sales Managers to ensure that customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner to achieve sales targets and resolve any queries that may arise. You will also liaise with different departments and warehouse facilities to together come up with strategies to improve customer interaction and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an office-based customer service environment as well as possessing a team management background. Additionally, you will have exceptional communication skills and be a confident user of MS Office.
