Our client is a specialist global Financial Services corporation with headquarters in central Berkshire. As a part of continual business growth, the organisation is seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer. This is a high profile role within the business. The Compliance Office will be responsible for managing Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance procedures across the group. This is a broad and challenging role with full responsibility for setting UK standards, advising and recommending on new and existing policies and procedures. The Compliance Officer will interpret Financial Services Authority, as well as UK/EU rules and guidelines and communicate directly across business units from junior staff through to board level. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience within an IFA, Insurance or Mortgages business as either compliance officer, or indeed as junior compliance officer and looking to take the next step in their career. As a part of your current or previous role you will have written compliance manuals, carried out suspect activity reports, delivered internal compliance training, worked closely with the FSA and developed strong AML regulation awareness. You will ideally hold relevant FSA qualifications in the field of compliance and AML.
