Our client, a manufacturing company providing bespoke technical products and solutions based in the Wokingham area are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. Working in a close knit team (3 Internal Sales Account Managers), this role is working for a small company who are owned by a large parent organisation. In this role, your responsibilities will include achieving an annual gross profit target from every potential client account. Using an existing database of warm clients, you will be tasked with generating new revenue streams from companies they have sold to in the past. You will be a proactive, revenue driven sales person who values building relationships which can be nurtured on a long-term basis. The position will require the individual to spend approximately 25% of the time visiting potential clients throughout the UK. The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude, with fantastic communication skills in order to carry out a high standard of business development calls to prospective corporate clients. You will also possess good numerate abilities to deal with technical data and be able to build relationships whilst adapting to different personalities and sales tactics as necessary. Based in Wokingham, our client is commutable by both car and public transport from towns throughout Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire (including Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, Camberley, Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough, Farnborough and Aldershot).
