Our client, a well established translation service provider is seeking a Business Development Executive based in their Berkshire offices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business-to-business sales within the translation industry and will be confident developing new business opportunities. However, all candidates with proven sales skills and ideally language capabilities (French, German, Italian or Spanish are ideal) will also be seriously considered. This is a predominately new business focused role so would ideally suit a hunter type sales professional. The successful candidate will be focusing on new business translation sales and proactively selling into identified companies by phone and face-to-face meetings right through to the closing of the sale. Candidates will have exposure to full solutions sales cycle and will ideally have previous exposure to various sales methodologies. The ideal person will be target driven, self-motivated and knowledge of translation memory systems would be advantageous. Although not a pre-requisite for this role, an additional European language would be desirable. In return the client is offering an attractive base salary and uncapped commission structure (100% target = £40K package).
