Our client, an award winning PR Consultancy based in London, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Associate Director to join their exceptionally talented and creative team. Possessing a broad range of PR skills, the main focus of this position will be to drive campaign results, exceed client expectations and stimulate innovative thinking, whilst ensuring a strong team culture and a fun working environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a client portfolio, and will therefore be confident in leading, growing and retaining profitable client accounts; securing new growth opportunities and demonstrating new thinking and innovation for campaigns. Offering strategic counsel to senior comms clients, the candidate will need to be comfortable operating at board-level with clients; creating and pitching powerful proposals and upselling specialist skills where appropriate. Consultancy experience, negotiation skills and the ability to clearly communicate the company’s digital offering to clients through a personal understanding of digital platforms is paramount, whilst strong financial management of client budgets is also essential. An understanding of media and media developments, and demonstrable ability to stimulate new ideas and awareness of trends are essential to ensuring high levels of creative output across teams. Acting as team leader, the successful candidate will also be mentoring and nurturing the talent of the company, and will be expected to check in with all team members on a regular basis to ensure effective workload management and a strong team culture. The ideal candidate will have excellent experience across a range of campaigns, and will be keen to Fostering media relationships at a senior editorial level, the ideal candidate will also be aligning media campaigns with comms strategy and ensuring all messaging and narrative is embedded in press materials to ensure high calibre media results.
