The Opportunity You will provide leadership, direction and management expertise in terms of growing and sustaining the business through the development and execution of group strategies, product development and sales growth plans to a team based within a healthcare research business. Key Responsibilities •Monitor and measure the execution of the business activities in accordance with the strategy. •Assess strategy quarterly and recommend appropriate corrective action. •Investigate areas for new business, either geographically or therapeutically •Develop a sales strategy to set and drive achievable sales targets for the team. •Build and sustain customer relationships. • Monitor and report on key external trends (e.g. environmental, legislative, health and safety, etc) •Ensure effective execution of the marketing strategy by collaborating with the marketing team. •Help create and review marketing campaigns • Supervise and control the activities, standards of performance and behaviour of your team. Candidate Profile The successful candidate for this Associate Director role will have a proven background in healthcare/pharma market research and be confident in managing a team focusing on key market reports. You will have the following skills set: Extensive experience in business development •Significant healthcare experience •Project management experience •Previous experience of leading and managing a team •Ability to persuade, encourage and motivate •Ability to prioritise effectively and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment •Ability to write proposals Company Profile A leading global provider of healthcare market research.
