Application Support Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity for an Application Support Specialist to join an innovative business on the outskirts of Reading. This is a full time, permanent hybrid position, split between home working and the office.

As an Application Support Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert on the software’s technical aspects including data sources and API.

The successful Application Support Specialist will be responsible for a range of activities including:

• Providing second line support, dealing with all queries from customers
• Working with other team members to ensure all tickets are up to date
• Liaising with data providers to report any errors or inaccuracies
• Assisting customers with installing software and handling any troubleshooting issues that may arise

The ideal candidate will have some previous application support experience with knowledge of data, databases and ideally, APIs. You will have strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to manage your own time effectively and work collaboratively to solve problems.
