Our client, a leading financial publisher, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Advertising Sales Manager to join their small and dynamic team which boasts a professional and successful reputation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all advertising sales for the publication, working closely with media agencies and direct clients to build and maintain relationships. Possessing excellent communication skills, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and be confident selling in a competitive environment, utilising their industry knowledge to agree rates and close sales. To maintain the excellent reputation of the publication, the successful candidate must be able to spot opportunities and build credibility in their sales, taking a proactive approach to staying informed on industry and client activities. As such, a keen interest in the financial sector would be advantageous in this role given the nature of the publication. A passion and drive for exceeding targets and sourcing new business is essential for this position. This role will incorporate a mixture of warm-calling, account management and client meetings.
