Our client, a leading academic institution, is currently seeking an Account Executive to work within the hospitality and events division. The successful applicant will ideally have a background in communication, hospitality or events and will be maximizing opportunities for the venue to be used for conferences and events. Using your fabulous communication skills, you will be answering client enquiries, sending out marketing information and showing prospective clients around the buildings and grounds. Once booked, you will be responsible for issuing contracts and ensuring that all details are logged on the database to enable catering, accommodation, sports services, portering etc to be in place for the events. You will also maintain regular contact with clients, proactively manage the events diary to maximize bookings, as well as attending conferences, exhibitions, seminars, training and promotional events.
