Are you a dynamic and driven Account Director looking to take on a new challenge? Do you also have experience of managing a client portfolio with a sixth month - quarterly perspective? If so, our client, an award winning PR Consultancy based in London, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Director to join their exceptionally talented and creative team. The successful candidate will possess a broad range of PR and communications skills, with the main focus of this position being to lead and execute successful client accounts and campaigns, actively driving growth opportunities and acting as a leader and role model for the agency. Key responsibilities and requirements will include but not be limited to: • Overseeing the team in their delivery of exceptional campaign results across media, digital and content • Taking a lead in fostering creativity and sharing knowledge of new thinking and trends with the wider agency to ensure continual development • Keeping up to date with digital trends and cultural/audience insights to benefit campaigns • Stimulating new thinking and ideas within teams to create exciting new concepts • Generating media campaign ideas that will deliver powerful stories that perhaps didn’t land the first time • Consuming a broad range of print, broadcast and digital media on a daily basis; keeping up to date with new trends and showing an understanding of how the media landscape is change • Fostering relationships with core target media • Advising clients on digital strategy and tactics; maximising the use of digital platforms to produce captivating campaigns • Creating new campaign ideas that maximise new forms of content across photos, films and infographics; fostering relationships with digital third parties where appropriate • Utilising key influencing skills to land essential campaign coverage • Supporting line managees; acting as a source of advice and inspiration to motivate them and present them with opportunities to develop The ideal candidate will have successful experience working across a range of campaigns; creating and negotiating budgets in line with client expectations and requirements, creating KPI’s for specific campaigns to ensure successful delivery, and actively taking part in business pitches and acting as a driving force on pitch preparation.
