Business Development Manager - Crops & Chemicals

A global Life Sciences business is hiring a Business Development Manager focusing on the DACH region as part of a highly successful and established European team focusing on the Crops and Chemical sector. 

This is a field based role and will require travel through the DACH region

Working for an internationally renowned business, you will be part of a European team with a focus on maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships as well as developing new business from the innovative brand portfolio.  An expert in the crop and chemical sector you will be looking to work for a well established leader in their sector. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies and territory plans to grow and develop your region
• Build and maintain existing customer relationships
• Identify and develop new business within the crops and industrial agrochemical sector

Requirements

• Strong business development and client development experience within the  the industrial chemical market and or Agrochemical/crops market
• • Knowledge of the cosmetic and/or food industry market is highly advantageous 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to build relationships and negotiate is essential
• Ability to travel in Europe
