Accounts Payable Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a research organisation based in London. Focused primarily on patient care and adhering to the highest professional standards, this role is with an industry leading clinical service provider focusing on neurology.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing invoices, ensuring all payments are made in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconciling statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Maintaining the accounts payable ledger and ensure data integrity within Sage
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment queries

Requirements

• ACCA or AAT qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience with Sage accounting software is essential
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
