This is an exciting opportunity for a First Response Claims Handler to join an established credit hire association based in Uxbridge.

As a First Response Claims Handler, you will be assessing claims received from customers and managing the process by liaising with various parties to ensure claims are valid.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess claims from customers and provide a hire vehicle whilst maintaining excellent customer service levels
  • Review circumstances of road traffic incidents and investigate the severity of vehicle’s damages
  • Liaise with several parties to assist with investigations
  • Ensure company’s guidelines are established and adhered to


  • Previous experience in a similar role particularly within the credit hire/motor insurance industry
  • Strong customer service background with excellent telephone manner
  • Good sales and negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
