Pre-Formulation Lead Scientist

A global biotechnology company who are a market leader in their therapeutic area are looking for a Pre-Formulation Lead Scientist to join their team in Oxford.

Leading a team of pre-formulation scientists, you will be responsible for the delivery of pre-clinical and clinical formulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing projects in the team from early research through to clinical development
• Managing a team of pre-formulation scientists
• Developing strong formulation projects that produce strong pre-clinical and clinical results
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Creating and reviewing formulation development activities

Requirements

• Educated to PhD level
• Previous experience in pre-formulation in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology setting
• Strong background in leading teams and having direct supervisory experience
• Great understanding of bioavailability enhancing techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
