Park Street People supports 'Get Year 11 Work Ready' Initiative

By Monopoly Cristiaan-Rakus, 27th November 2015

Friday November 27th saw consultants from Park Street People, taking part in a 'Get Ready for Work’ training workshop for year 11 students at The Forest School in Winnersh, Wokingham.

This workshop forms part of the School’s Careers Programme and is designed to give the boys a good grounding in applying for jobs including how to write a good CV and cover letter, followed by group guidance on interview techniques, an individual mock interview and personal feedback to each student.

This is an annual event for the school and very well received by the students. Park Street People’s involvement this year is the first step of a planned programme of activities to support our increased focus on CSR over the coming months.

Two of the Park Street team were delighted to have taken part in this great initiative, as these elements are essential in preparing students for applying not only for jobs, internships and apprenticeships but also for college and university places too.
